TWO MILLION OF MEN. [special to peess association.—copybighx.J (Received April 25, 11 p.m.) Paeis, April 24, The Government intend to ask the Chamber of Deputies to vote a sum of 52,000,000 francs in aid of the defences at Brest, Cherbourg, Toulon, and Cambniy. It is stilted that 11,000 men are required to placo the army in an efficient state. (Received April 2G, 1.00a.m) M. do Freycinet has stated that it is the intention of Franco to have a million of men stationed on tho frontier and another million in tho interior, and also that it is proposed to extend the term under which tho men will serve to twenty-five years. /
