April. 12—Australia, e.s., for northern ports. Fnssenjjers—Messrs Eees, Ward, Smith, Harrison, Elder, and 12 steerage. 13—Wairoa, s.e., for "Wairoa.
The s.s. Weka returned to port at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, after successfully landing her cargo at Mahia, Wangawehi, and Mohaka.
The Union Company's s.s. Suva, Captain Todd, arrived from northern ports at 6 a.m., and was berthed at tho breastwork. The Suva left Auckland at 6 p.m. on the 10th, called in at Hick's Bay, Awanui, Tuparoa, and Tologa Bay ; left tho latter port at 12.50 p.m. on the 12th, and arrived at Gisborne at 4.45 p.m. ; left again at 8 p.m, and arrived in Napier as abovo. Experienced fine weather throughout. She will resume her voyage for Wellington at 2 p.m. to-day. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, arrived in the roadstead at 9 a.m. to-day. She left Wellington on Tuesday night, and landed cargo at'Castlo Point, Ohonga, and Alriteo. She will steam for Wellington at 3 p.m., taking a large quantity of tallow, &c, for transhipment to the ship Timaru, now loading at that port. The Union Company's steamers should both arrive in good time to-morrow. The To Anau, from north, is due at daybreak, and proceeds southwards in the afternoon, outward passengers leaving by the Waihi at 2 p.m. The Manapouri leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day, nnd should reach here about 10 a.m. Outward passengers by her for Sydney and northern ports will be taken off at 4.30 p.m. Tho s.s. Australia, Captain Crawshaw, steamed for northern ports at 2.30 p.m. vgs torcLfl. V*. The Kato Tatham cleared for Sydney this morning, and will sail this afternoon. The s.s. Ahuriri will steam for Pourerere and "Waimarama on Sunday night.
