The Argus, in an article on thp Divorce Extension Bill, Bees no regret in its not being , assented to by the Crown, and considers that ii bill on so important a mutter ought to bo uniform.; aud, further, that if the measure, was assented to Sydney would have to becumo a Gretna Green on divorce for other colonies. The pearling expedition from the eastern end of Now Guinoa has returned, the Tenture being- a failure. The water was found to bo too deep, and fever very prevalent.
