FEARFUL LOSS OF PROPERTY.
LOSS OF LIFE FEARED. [SPECIAL TO PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] (Received March 19, 2.30 p.m.) New York, March 16. The daraago sustained through the recent snowstorms is estimated at twonty million dollars. Twelve New York pilot-boats and over a hundred coasting vessels have been wrecked. It is feared there has been great loss of life. At Brooklyn twonty funerals were proceeding, and were blocked in the streets by buow. The corpses were removed to houses in the vicinity. A train conveying a number of New York legislators was blocked for two days, and the occupants, whon rescued, wore in almost a starving condition.
