Ani-XAiru, Tliis day. Rubies have been found in the Broken Hill district. Two pounds woijrht of stone were .picked up in a short time near Poolaniacea, and rough tests of tlicm jfuvo satisfaction. The color is not so dosp as of these fouud in the Mount McDonnell mine*.
