Tho second clay's racing of the Victoria Riming Club's autumn meeting took place to-day. Tho weather was fitio, but rather dull mid cold. Tho attendance was good. • The following were the results :— JIAIDEN STAXKS, Of 5 soys, with 200 added. Second horse, ■10 soys, third 20 so vs. Ones mile and a quarto , . Mr J . Vcilluy jumped olf with the lead and was never headed, winning in a canter by threo lengths. Time, hnin lilj.soc. Passing ihc .stand Carlyon was again at the head of att'aira, closely followed by E.D., Dick Swivellsr, Moorhouse, Arsenal,
and Australian Peer. Nelson now began to tail off: Passing the sli&ls the second time ]Seu Bolt ran into third place, with Oakleigh, Dick Swiveller, Australian Peer, and Arsenal racing together in a bunch. Turning into the straight Carlyon still maintained Ihe lead, but at the distance post Ar-enal shot out from the second division ami challenged the favorite, but couldnever get on even terms, and th« Hon. J. White's horse won by half a length, Arsenal beating Dick Swiveller by a neck for second place. Enfilade was fourth. Then came Abuse, E.D., Nelson, Ben Bolt, Australian Peer, Mooi'honse, and Malua.
