GisnoßNK. This day. Oil sand was atruok yesterday at tho Minerva well, at a depth of 510 feet. A considerable quantity of sandy mud is being blown out of tho well by tho gas, which is coming in such quantities that it can be burnt at the mouth of the pipe. _ The sand struck is within fifteen feet of its position as marked on the record of the Pacifio oil well. Tho present rate of progress is over 100 feet per syeek.

Dross plushes, millinery plushes, silk velvets, new ribbons, velvet ribbons just opened by Neal and Close. Inspection incited.
