February. 23—Suva, s.s., for Gisbome. Passengers—Messrs Smitton, Larrett, and Munn. 23_Wairoa, s.s., for Wairoa. Passengers—Messrs Brown and Masterson; Mesdames Thorn and Wallace; Misses Lewis, Duncan, and Bray.

The Colonial Union Company's s.s. Selembria, Captain Samuel Fowler, arrived from the Blutf at 11 p.m. yesterday, and anchored in the roadstead, where she commenced discharging her original cargo and taking in her frozen ineHt loading this morning. Although considerably by the stern, on account of the incomplete state of her loading, the Selembria presents a very graceful appearance, being in tho distance very like the s.s. Rotomahana. The Suva's passengers and mails were taken off by the Waihi at 2 p.m. yesterday, after which she resumed her voyage north - •wards. The s.s. Wairoa steamed last night for Wairoa. The s.s. Kahu is due to-night from Wellington, having left that pert at 5.5 p.m. yesterday. The s.s. Te Anau left Auckland at noon yesterday, and is due here early to-morrow morning. Outward passengers for northern ports and Melbourne will leave the wharf in the Waihi at 2 p.m. The Australia should arrive fro» northern ports to-morrow morning, and is announced to steam for Wellington at noon.

The Manapouri leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day, and should reach here tomorrow forenoon. In the evening she will continue her voyage for northern ports and Sydney, the last launch leaving the wharf at o p.m. The three-masted schooner Rio left Greymouth yesterday, with a cargo of coal for the new Freezing Company.
