The scope of tho publication which Sir Julius Vogel is connected with, it is said, will embrace the whole of the Pacific Idands, including New Zealand and Atistralia, and will extend to the Panama Canal and its vicinity. M. do Lessepa has accepted the dedication of tho work. The capital of the Company is £50,000, in £10 shares. The provisional directors are the Hon. R. Pharazyn, M.L.C., and Mr George Beetham. It is not yet settled whether the Company will erect premises and plant of their own, or contract with some existing firm for its publication. It is expected the cost of bringing out the work will be £100,000, and it is understood it will be issued in 42 numbers at 5s each.
