Tetford did three miles at a sound pace throughout. Apropos did two miles at half speed. Quibble and St. Clair did the Cup distance, the last mite fast Artillery did two miles at an easy pace , with Secretary and Sweetbriar. Ruby and Kingston did two miles, half the distance at top speed. Good work was also done by Sult&n, Adulation, Haka, Wolverine Trapper, Sweet Lips, Somneil, St. Iveal' Mokoia, and others.
