GRASS FIRE.

Blenheim, Thi_ day. Vernon run was ou fire yesterday. The Hon. AY. Clifford, assisted by several people, who happened to be near the run, worked hard, and, assisted by nineteen or tweiitv men employed at the threshing machine on Mr Clifford's Ugebrook station, put tho fire completely out by five o'clock in the evening. At one time it was thought the homestead was in danger. No ono seems to know how the fire originated.
