DUNEDIN V. CANTERBURY,
In tho crickot match at Dunedin yesterday between the above provinces, Dunedin made 97 in their first innings, of which number Harper put together 53. Canterbury were all disposed of for GS, and when the stumps were drawn for tlie day Otago had lost two wickets in their second innings for a liko number of runs. At tlio luncheon adjournment to-day, the total had been increased to 163 for eight wickets, Raynor and Niven being not out with 33 and 10 respectively to their credits, and loth men batting with patience and judgment. Later.
Otago aro all out for 167. Niven played a most patient innings, and was magnificently caught by Reese, the catch being the finest" one evor seen on tho ground. Canterbury have lost two wickets in their second innings for 20.
