SECOND EDITION.
The Napier Football Club will bo represented by the following team in the match against the High School to-morrow : —N. Kennedy, Kelly, Newton, Tylee, Hunter, Wolodge, Liddle, White, Skeot, Styche, Miller, Rochfort, S. B. Kennedy, Williams, and Gowring. The match will be played on the Recreation Ground. Players are requested to be on the ground before 3.30 p.m., as the match will commence at that time.
Mr H. Monteith reports the sale of a number of Wanganui horses at Stortford Lodge yards, on the 22nd instant. Buyers were not numerous, but there was a fair demand for draughts. Light and medium stamps realised from £12 to £18, heavier sorts from £2(3 to £29. A foyv gqod useful hacks for.station work were disposed of at from £8 to £1Q ; and upstanding hacks up to £14. The highest price offered for high, class weight carriers was £35.
