Mr H. MtMiteith reports as follows: — " I offered at Mr Stock's Stortford Lodge yards, Hastings, at 2 o'clock yesterday, a lot of Wanganui horses, including a number of useful draughts, which were disposed of at Hie following prices:—l bay heavy draught gelding, broken to all harness, £29 ; 2 heavy draught geldings, unbroken, £20 each, and a number of others at prices ranging from £15 to £20. Useful hacks sold at from £S to £10. The highest price offered for high class weigh-carriers was £35."
