Among the Road Boards that applied for grants aro Woodvillo £3000, Kumeroa £1000, Maharahara £1000, all rejected; and Manga-atua, £2000 for roads, carried. Among the Town Boards aro Danevirko £600, for bush falling , , - forming and metalling roads, rejected; and Waipawa £600, for roads and drainage, of which the first vear'a grant has been paid. The Waipawa Rivers Board applied for £1000 for riverprotecting works, which was provisionally granted, but the application was received too late.
