Johnson, from whom a letter was read apologising for his absence on account of the Supreme Court. The chief business was the consideration of the question whether to summons the parents of children not attending the' school the regulation number of times; also with regard to charging for stationery supplied to the children. It was decided to summons six of the worst offenders with regard to attendance, and to enforce the charge for stationery after the current quarter." .
