A good deal of interest has been taken by Spit residents in the. case against John Kelly for having done damage to a certain fence lately, and the Court was filled this afternoon when the case was called on. At the R.M. Court this afternoon, a young man brought up on charge of lunacy, was discharged. Mr Bourgeois will start on a canvassing expedition next Monday, in connection with the bazaar, in aid of Dr. Bernardo's homes. Mr Tanner has received a bronze medal and diploma for the hops exhibited hy him at tho Indian and Colonial Exhibition.
