The cricket match between Shaw and "liillywlnte's team -and tlw Australian eleven was continued to-day. The Australians continuing their second innings, succeeded in compiling 249" runs when the last wicket fell. Evans (bowled) 11, Trott (not out) 29. The Englishmen, who required 220 runs to' win, commenced their second innings, and had lost 4 wickets for 123 rune when the stumps were drawn, The following are thb individual scores :— Carrie's', bowled 4 Read, caught and bowled '~ 5 I Bates, bowled .. .. \ .. 6 Scotton, bowled 22 I Shrewsbury, not out .. .. 15 [ Gunn, not out .. .. .. 61 A3 the match could not be finished, it was declared drawn.
The English oricketers left for Sydney this afternoon.,^
