W.T.—All matters relating to the payment of either the property tax, or local rates, on property to be disposed, of, should be settled by agreement between the vendor and the buyer, and the proper authorities notified of the arrangements. If this has been omitted you should consult your lawyer, as a legal point is raised which we cannot undortake to answer.
