Mr George Heslop was taken into partnership, and it has been deemed advisable to dissolve the said partnership. . The Dip for the future will be sold under thenameof "Eakins& Co.'slmprovedSheep Dip," and any other Dip purporting to be the same, is a worthless fraud and counterfeit. Mr Eakins alone possessing the recipe of,Eakins and Co.'s Improved Sheep Dip, ■which will be manufactured under his immediate supervision. We specially request that anyone buying Dip will see that the name Eakins & Co. is across tho label on each drum. The Improved Dip consists of an nr.senical base so chemically combined with an alkali that all caustic properties of the Aeskniotjs Acid are neutral, and its poisonous effects active. The Dip also contains a large percentage of Glycerole of Borax, with a powerful disinfectant. Tho Glycerole of Borax cleanses the skin and heals any exeorations, giving the wool a. healthy feel and appearance, causing no discoloration. We claim the p/tronago of the public on the following grounds : — Ist. We guarantee our Dip to be of a uniform ssrength,l as unprincipled trading tends to lower liie quality and thereby obtain a larger profit. 2nd. It is a colonial manufacture and superior to imported Dips, therefore has a prior claim. 3rd. Mr Eakins has had several years experience in the largest chemical works of the Home country, which is in itself a sufficient guarantee that one sound method of manufacture will be adhered to, preventing any mistakes the inexperienced make, Buck mistakes causing no end of trouble and expenses to the consumers of Sheep Dip.
