This Company has been inaugurated under tbe most favorable circumstances, having secured a very desirable site for a Course, etc., on theßedclyffe-road, on most advantageous terms, comprising an area of about 43 acres of high and dry land, within a quarter of a mile of the Township of Taradale, which can be made available for Racing and other sports at a small outlay, an agreement having been entered into for the purchase of 33 acres of the abovenamed land at the extremely low price of £50 per acre, and for leasing, for a term of 10 years, the adjoining section, containing about 10 acres, for the annual rental of £32 10s. The old Town and Suburban Racing Club, which has been very successful during its past career, has agreed to hand over to this Company the whole of the property of that Club, amounting in value to about £100.
