His Excellency Said Pasha, tho representative of tho Sublime Porte on tho International Conference, stated at tho opening sifting that ho hoped tho Powers would be able to arrive at a satisfactory settlement of the Bulgarian difficulty. In consequence of tho disturbed state of affairs on tho frontier, Givce i'ud Turkey uro despatching troops to maintain quietude.
