Jockey Club of the freehold lands of the Society at Hastings, and the acquisition by tho Society ill lion thereof of leasehold hinds with a purchasing clause upon the terms contained in draft Deeds of Conveyance ancl Lease _ perused and approved by the Society's solicitors. Notice of motion by Mr Joseph H. Williams :—That- the classes entered as special prizes be established as permanent classes under the same regulations as the other classes. Mr Winter to move, "That Racing Rule 54 be amended by striking out the Avords, ' except as aforesaid.' " Mr Burke to move, " That the resolution authorising the refund, to Members travelling by rail, of entrance money to the Course be altered so that Members shall only be entitled to the refund on application at the Secretary's Office on the ground on the day tho entrance money was paid."
