NOTICE is hereby given that tho Council of tho Borough of Napier, in pursuance of the provisions of "Theßating Act, IS7G," intend, at, a Special Meeting to be held in the Council Chamber at NOON on FRIDAY, tho 2-1 th instant, to make a GENERAL RATE OF ONE SHILLING IN THE POUND upon all ratable property situate within the said Borough, such rate to bo for the period commencing on the 2-1 th day of April, 18S5, and ending" on the 21th da} r of April, ISBG, payable in two equal instalments on the 30th day of June, 18S5, and on the 31st day of December, 1885. The Rate Book is open for inspection at tho Town Clerk's Oflice between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 1 p.m. daily except SATURDAYS Avhen it is open from 10 a.m. to NOON ONLY.
