' The Union Company's p.s. Waihora, Captain I,'dic arrived in the roadstead at 5 p.m. on Saturday from Southern ports and Melbourne, and" was tendered as usual by the Boojum for mails and passengers and by the ketch Admiral for her cargo. The last launch -with the outward Sydney and Northern passengers left the wharf at S o'clock and the Waihora steamed out of the bay shortly after 10 p.m. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Campbell got away for Wellington direct at 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. The outward passengers were taken oft to the U.S.S. Company's s.s. Tarawora at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and she steamed for Southern ports and Melbourne at 3 p.m. She is telegraphed as having reached Wellington at 2.45 p.m. yesterday. The s.s. Wairoa, IT. Andersen, master, steamed for Wairoa yesterday morning, carrying cargo and passengers. The U.S.S. Company's s.s. Suva, Captain Hutchison, finished taking in her cargo of sleepers on Saturday night, and steamed for Wellington yesterday forenoon. The brigantine Jessie Nicol has not yet sailed for Sunday Island. The Union Steamship Company's cargo boat Taupo, which was expected to sail from Wellington for Northern ports on Saturday night, was detained there by stress of weather until this mornh.g, she having left that port at 6.30 a.m. She will be due here to-night, and will, if she treis discharged in time, resume her passage at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night. The s.h Bella, Capt. W. Green, returned from Mohaka and Wairoa on Saturday night, and will be leaving again for the latter place, if possible, to-morrow night. The steamer Ohau was to leave Dunedin for Northern ports to-day.
