Oamaru, This day

The. twenty-first annual show of the North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held yesterday. There was a good attendance of the public. Tho day was devoted to judging Ayrshire cattle, sheep, thoroughbred horses, and hacks,. The exhibits of Aryshiro were the best ever seen iii Oamaru, and consequently,' in the colony. Tho number was much larger than last year. Tho sheep were also good, all the best breeds in the district being represented. The dips were taken by the following:—Merinos, fine combing, AA r . S. Tcschcmaker; merinos, strong combing, A. M'Master; Lcicesters, Hon. M: Holmes ; Lincolris; New Zealand and Australian Laud Company. Grain, M. A. Murdoch. Dairy produce, W. W. Cowan ; Mcsdames Towns and James tied for the second and third cups." Ayrshires, Messrs A. and J. M'Farlanc. Thoroughbreds, A. Dalgleish. .-' - -. ;
