Wanganui, This day. Messrs Nathan and Spurdle were nominated yesterday for the Mayoralty. DnsjsDix-, This day.
Messrs Barnes, Speckling, and Scoulhir, nil City Councillors, were nominated for the Maj'orulty yesterday. Wellington, This day.
Mr Pothoriok has protested against the nomination of the other two candidates for the mayoralty on the_ grounds that tlio nomination paper contained moro than the legal number of signatures.
