■ Yesterday was the ordinary" day for the monthly meeting at Parihaka. ". About; 300 or 400 natives belonging to alien tribes wero present, principally from theplains.- Everything passed off quietly.. - Tho natives have accepted the advice given, by tho Govern-; ment and aro taking steps to clean up the ,pab, thus ■ stamping out epidemic of erysipelas which has been prevelant there for sometime. .•'■■•-.
