ST. JOHN'S CHOIR.
[To the Editor of the Daily Telegraph.] Sib,—l quite agree with tho remarks of your correspondent " Music," in last evening's Telegraph, in reference to the reorganisation of St. John's Church choir. The "boys" composing that choir have now had a fair trial, and have proved a failure; it is therefore time that we dispensed with their services, and put forth our best endeavors to organise a thoroughly efficient mixed choir. There is nothing so distasteful, in my idea, as to sit and listen to a church choir singing out of time and tune, yet that is what the congregation of St. John's Church have had to put up with for a considerable time. It is to be hoped, however, that the suggestion thrown out by "Music" -will receive consideration at the hands of the of management, and that it -will lead to immediate steps being taken that will put tho choir in question on a permanent and efficient footing. —I am, &c, Churchman.
