EARTHQUAKE.
Invercargill, This day. A sharp shock of earthquake was felt here at 12.48 p.m. yesterday. It was accompanied by a rumbling noise resembling thunder, anel caused many people to rush out into the streets. The vibration appeared to bo from north to south. The weather Avas overcast.
