PORT OF NAPIER
Tho brig Neptune will recruiro to be lightered of about 150 tons of her cargo of coal before coming inside, and the s.s. Sir Donald will go alongside for the purpose to-morrow morning. The schooner Onward commenced discharging her cargo at the breastwork today. Tho New_ Zealand Shipping Company a chip Turakina is rapidly filling up with both frozen meat and wool, and is expected to be ready for sea by tho end of tho week. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Cfipt. Ross, is. expected to leave Auckland for Gisborno, Napier, and Wellington at o p.m. to-day, and should reach here on Friday next. The s.s. Kiwi is taking in wool and tallow for transhipment in Wellington, and is expected to sail at about 4 p.m. this day. There is a heavy sea reported running on the Wiiiroa bar, so that the p.s. Manaia is Still dotained in port. She will, however, take her departure hence at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, should a favorable report of tho bar bo received at that hour.
