As she has a large portion of her cargo engaged at Port Chalmers (her first port of call) her space for wool will be limited, and early application for space is advisable. It is intended that, weather permitting, sho shall go through the Straits of Magellan and call at the beautiful harbor of Rio de Janeiro. To bo followed by tho magnificent steamship— BRITISH KING, 3599 tons register, 2000 horse-power, J. Kelly, Commander. This steamer will also bo despatched for tho— February Sales, And as a largo portion of her homeward cargo will be shipped at Wellington, it will be necessary for intending shippers to secure her remaining space promptly. The saloon and state cabins are superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for the comfort of tho passengers, who arc provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could bo desired, aud tho slups are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of tho principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. Tho Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch lias been established in Liverpool, and vessels will bo despatched at suitable intervals to tho principals ports in New Zealand. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co. havo been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular line of vessels will bo laid on for tho various ports in this colony to meet the requirements of tho trade. Arrangements for the passages of friends to and fro from the colony, and also for tho conveyance of cargo can be made at the Head Offico, Christchurch or at any of tho Branches in the colony. D.
