PARIS.
December 20. Latest intelligence from Tonquin reports that Yorduc has assumed the title of King of Anriain, with the support of a largo proportion of its inhabitants. His succession, however, is strongly opposed by the remainder of the Annamese, and much excitement prevails at Hue in consequence of the antagonism of the two parties. It is probable that the preservation of peace will be undertaken by the French commander, and that the capital will be occupied by a strong garrison of French troops. The credit vote of 20,000,000 francs for the Tonquin expedition was passed by the Senate to-day.
