MARIST BROTHERS' SCHOOL.
The annual distribution of prizes to the children attending tho above school took place this morning. Rev. Father Cussidy occupied the chair. In opening tho proceedings tho Rev. Chairman expressed his regret that Very Rev. Father Forest was, owing to severe illness, unable to preside. After a few appropriate remarks, iv Avhich he complimented the prize- takers upon their success, and paid a high tribute to the zeal of tho Brothers', Father Cas-ndy awarded the prizes. On behalf of tho Brothers tho Rev. Chairman thanked Mrs Barry, of Taradale, Messrs Higgins, Lee, Sheath, Dawson, DoAvling, and other donors of prizes.
