A meeting- of tbe promoters of tho Harmonium Concert at Petano is called for Monday next in tho school-room. . Mr S. Baddeloy announces that ho has taken the Matamau Hotel, and is prepared to supply the best accommodation to travelers.

The prospectus of the Champion Copper Mine Company is published by Mr AY. G. Motley, tho Napier agent, from whom all information can be obtained. Caledonian sports will be held at Petane on New Year's Day. Mr R. IL Robinson wants tenders for erecting a six-roomed dwelling (labor only). Rymer's coach loaves Puketapu every day at 8 a.m. for Taradale and Napier, returning at 3 p.m., the fares each way being 2s.
