This day.

The Intercolonial Convention, which concluded its sittings at Sydney on Satur ■ day last, is regarded here as a great success. A grand banquet will be given tonight afc the Houses of Parliament to the delegates of the various colonies who are now in Melbourne, with Mr Service, the Premier, as host. The various resolutions proposed by Mr AVhitakcr and the others and agreed to at the Convention are being transmitted to the Imperial Secretary of State for the colonies by telegraph.
