The session of the Intercolonial Convention closed at noon to-day. Most of the delegates leave Sydney this afternoon. At the final meeting this morning Sir George Dcs A 7 ojux ! s motion for preventing the unrestricted purchases of land in New Guinea and the Pacific Islands was adopted, and the resolution proposed by Mr AVhitakcr that criminals should be prohibited from landing in the Australian colonies was also carried.
