CAIRO.
December 9. Despatches to hand from Souakim, dated tho sth instant, state that an attack iv force was made on that date by the Arab bill men upon the Egyptian troops who had been despatched as reinforcements for the garrison at Souakim. The attack was made some distance outside the town, and resulted in tho destruction of five companies of Egyptian troops.
