SUPREME COURT SESSIONS.
New Plymouth, This day,
The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court were opened to-day. The following is tho cause list: —Thomas Werr, arson and false pretences; Murphy Collins, maliciously shooting cattle; Watiha and Waiheta, shooting cattle with intent to steal tho carcases; John Paul, housebreaking and burglary; Patua receiving stolen goods; Alexander Hoswell, false pretences. Civil cases —Trustees of Halse's estate v. Kenny, and Christie and Peacock. The Judge, in his address to the Grand Jury, only referred to the cases on tho calendar for trial. John Paul's case for burglary is now proceeding.
