London, October 29. Consols have declined, and are now quoted at 101 J. New Zealand securities. —Five per cent 10-40 loan, 105.', ; five per cent ISS9 loan, 106; four and "a half per cent 1879-1901 loan, 100 : {-; four per cent inscribed stock, 102. Melbourne, Tuesday. The Melbourne manager of tho National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand reports of the local grain market as follows:—Wheat, Is 3d to 4s Id, market dull and drooping; malting barley is neglected, to-day's quotations being 4s Gd to 5s 3d; Now Zealand oats are in fair demand at 2s lOd to 3s Id for feeding, aud 3s Id to 3s 2d for milling sorts; ditto, under bond, 2s to 2s 3d.
