MURDER OF A NATIVE.
Gisborne, This day. Information has been received of the murder of a native named Repara at Muriwai, but no definite particulars are to hand. The deceased was accused of witchcraft, and of causing by that means the death of We Kaipuke, a young chief who died a day or two before.
