Passengers—Mr and Mrs Findlay and child, Messrs Russell, Milton, Edmonds, Pilcher, C. Monteith, Co well, Martin, Clifford, Stark, Bowern, Smith, and Pirani, Masters Harris and Laing. 15—Weka, s.s., for Tongoio.
The outward passengers for tho steamer Tarawera, Captain Sinclair, were taken out by the launch at o o'clock on Saturday evening, the steamer getting away for Gisborno, Auckland, and Sydney at 7.30 p.m. The brigantine Eaterprisc, Captain A. Bell, arrived in the bay on Saturpay night from Dunedin after a little over a week's passage. She brings a full cargo of general produce to various consignees, which she commenced to discharge at tho breastwork. Messrs Kinross and Co. arc her local agents. The Union Company's steamer Tc Anau, Captain McGcc, from Northern ports, arrived at the anchorage at 7.30 a.m. yesterday. Tlio following is a report of iier passage down tlio coast:—Left Auckland at 2 p.m. ou the 12th instant, and experienced strong westerly and northwesterly winds to Gable End: thence to arrival at Gisborne at 2 p.m. on the 13th had strong southerly winds: left Gisborne at 0 p.m. same day, and experienced strong southerly gale with high sea to arrival. The Sir Donald tendered her for her cargo, somo 25 tons. The outward passengers were taken out by the launch shortly after 10 a.m., the Tc Anau steaming on her way for Southern ports aud Melbourne at 11.30 a.m. She is telegraphed as having arrived at Wellington at 11.10 a.m. this
day. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Captain Ross, which loft here at 4 o'clock on Friday afternoon, is reported as having arrived at AVcllington at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Sho is to leave there again at 4 p.m. this day, and will bo due hero tomorrow evening. By advertisement sho is announced to steam for Gisborne and Auckland from the wharf at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The s.s. IGavi, Captain James Campbell, is to leave AVcllington for the coast and Napier to-morrow evening, and should in that case be due here on Thursday morning.
The s.s. AVeka, Captain John Campbell, loft for Tongoio this morning Avith a quantity of station, stores.
The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, Avill get away for AVairoa to-morrow morning, should a favorable report of the bar at that place be received to-day. Tho Union Company's steamer Taiaroa was to havo left Dunedin this afternoon, being due here on Friday next, as she is advertised to sail at -1 p.m. that day for Gisborno, Tauranga-, and Auckland.
Tlio s.s. Go-Ahead will bo loading at Oamaru for Napior on Thursday.
