TreasurerCaptain J. Howard. first race to start punctually at 12 o'clock. PROGRAMME. Handicap Hurdle Race—Of 40 soys., distance, 2 miles, over 8 flights of hurdles, •3ft Gin high. Nomination, 2 soys.; acceptance, 1 soy. Hack Hurdle Race—Of 10 sow, distance, 1 mile, over 4 flights of hurdles, for all horses that have never started in a weight - for - age or handicap hurdle race. Weights not less than 10 stone. Post entrance, 1 soy. W.C.R. Club Handicap—Of 140 eovs., second horse to receive 15 soys. from the stake, distance, 1 J miles. Nomination, 3 soys. ; acceptance, 5 soys. Tho winner of any handicap, after the declaration of weights, of £100, to cany 71b penalty, of £50 to carry 51b penalty. Maiden Plate—Of 25 soys., distance, li miles, weight-for-age; entrance £2 10s. For all horses that have never won 10 soys. or over at time of entry, hack races execptcd. Any horse winning £25 after time of entry to carry 71b penalty. Railway Handicap—Of GO soys., second horse to receive 10 soys. from the.stake, distance, I mile. Tho winner of the W.C.R. Handicap to carry 7lb penalty. Nomination, 3 .soys. ; acceptance, 2 soys. Hack Race—Of 10 soys., distance 1 mile, catch weights. Post entrance, 1 soy. Consolation Race—Of 10 soys., one mile, for all beaten horses. Post entrance, 1 soy. RULES. No person allowed to enter a hor.se unless ho is a subscriber of at least one guinea to the Club. All disputes, claims, or objections to bo decided by a majority of the stewards, or whom they may appoint, whose decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of two guineas, to be forfeited if the protest in considered frivolous. Three horses to start in each race, or only half the money will be given. "Hack" shall mean a horse that has never .started in a wciyht-for-ago or handicap race. Nominations for the Maiden Plate (with ages of horses and colors of rider*). Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must bo left with tho secretary at Kaikora not later than 8 p.m. on the Bth of December. Weights will appear on the loth of December. Acceptances for the Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, and colors of riders, must be left with the secretary not later than 8 p.m. on the 22nd of December. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. All races run under the H.B. Jockey Club rules and weights.
