The new boiler will, in all probability, be on the ground in tho course of a few. weeks, by which timethe derrick and plant will have boon erected. The neAV bore is situate about a mile and a half northwest of the present sceno of operations. A gentleman who arrived in town on Saturday reports operations proceeding satisfactorily, and fully confirms tho tidings brought down last week, and published by us, as to the presence of more than ordinary quantity of oil.
