Wednesday. Another severe shock of earthquake was experienced last night in tho south of this colony. The shock was felt most distinctly in the city of Goulbum. A crowded and enthusiastic meeting was held in the Town Hall of this city this evening for tho purpose of considering the recent actions for libel and contempt of Court in which the proprietors of the Sydney Morning Herald were condemned to pay heavy damages. Resolutions requesting tbe Legislature to amend the existing laws of libel and contempt of Court wore carried. This clay. News has been received hero that the second mate and four of the crew of the schooner Laviuia and tho Government agent have been murdered by the natives of Apia.
