A man named Charles Macfarlano shot himself through the head yesterday in the hut of a man named Irvine, a miner - The weapon belonged to Irvine, who was absent when the occurcnco took place. Macfaiianc was getting a good living by letting ahorse to diggers to draw up wash-dirfc. No reason i.s assigned for the suicide, except that the deceased had been drinking. He was unmarried, and a native of Ireland.
