G. Smytho's horses, cattle, pigs, poultiy, harness, garden tools, lice.; by Mr Lyndon, at his mart, at 11 a.m., household furniture and other useful goods ; and by Messrs Miller and Potts, at Hastings, at noon, horse stock of all descriptions. Tenders for erecting- a dwelling house at Puketapu (labor only) will bo received by Mr John Heslop, Puketapu, not later than to-morrow. The Napier Volunteers parade for inspection in front of the Athonasum. on Wednesday evening. Messrs Wood and Co. sell by auction at Hastings on Thursday, horses, and a quantity of miscellaneous goods. Persons desirous of forming a lodge of the Protestant Alliance Friendly Society at Hastings are requested to meet at Mr Hastings' new shop on Thursday evening. "Daisy Farm" is announced for Tuesday, September 4th. The finder of a lady's plaid shawl, lost between Napier and Olive, will be rewarded on returning same to Mr Joe Wells.
