The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company reports of tho local grain market as follows: —AVheat, market active, shipping parcels fetching bj- to 5/1, and fowl's wheat 3/9 to 4/3 ; malting barley, 6/3 to G/l, Avith market decidcdlj*- firmer; New Zealand oats are in good demand at 2/11 to 3/2 for feeding, and 3/2 to 3/4 for milling qualities; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2/2 to 2/G, Avith moderate enquiry experienced.
