After four days' trial in the Supreme Court, 31r Stranaghan, grocer, gained a verdict for .Cooo with costs against the Standard Insurance Company. The evidence as to the quantity of stock destrayed AA'as extremely contradictory. 3lr Justice Johnston
expressed his satisfaci ion that the decision in such cases of conflicting testimony Avas not left to the Judge alone.
