HEAVY RAIN IN SYDNEY
THE QUEENSLAND ELECTIONS
Tuesday. A man, avlio has been identified as Joe Smith, of the Irish informers, has arrived here from Sydney. It has been ascertained that his passage was taken under an assumed name.
This day. Joseph Smith (the Irish informer) and his Avife are passengers for Suez by the 3lessa-o-eries steamship 3lelbourne. On landing lit AVilliamstown yesterday Smith was recognised, and they havo since been under police supervision. They sail by the 3lelbourne to-day.
